Established to assist well-qualified individuals to train for careers in a field related to Jewish community service.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to any individual, regardless of country of origin, who is presently receiving or plans to undertake training in his/her chosen field at a recognized yeshiva, teacher training seminary, school of social work, university, or oother educational institution. Applicants must be interested in pursuing professional training for careers in Jewish education, Jewish social service, the rabbinate, or as religious functionaries in diaspora Jewish communities in need of such personnel. Students planning to serve in the United States, Canada, or Isreal are not eligible.
